Another year, another milestone!. Pigalles seem to just be getting more and more popular and almost weekly, we are seeing new pictures crop up across the internet. At almost every major event- The Grammy's, Brit Awards, Tribeca Film Festival, Academy Awards and the Golden Globes- someone has slipped on a pair and wowed everyone. Not everyone likes Pigalles though, as this tweet here demonstrates, and is was voted as one of the most uncomfortable shoes in this post here
Anyway, here are some of the things we are working on right now:-
To credit the original poster, it has been our policy to list the links where readers can view the site where were found our HQ pictures and can see the rest of the set. Some of these sites however, require that you sign up and maintain a viable presence online, usually by making a certain number of posts during a period- which some readers found tedious.
As a result, we have now tried to include free links in our posts, which are usually the first one or two and the rest being restricted to members to make it easier for all to see the full set at their leisure
Additionally, we have started the long and arduous process of directly posting the pictures of each post, so all you have to do is click, and see the files instantly. Why this change?. Simply put- given that many of the boards are run on the funds of members and are prone to attacks (by morons), to add stability it made sense to directly link the pictures, and users can see the rest of the set on the site.
We have also been experimenting with some ways of expanding our presence online- via tumblr and Blog lovin to limited sucess however. Tumblr seemed to be less than intuitive, so a landing page was made with a link to this site
Recently. Mr Louboutin responded to a question on Irish Television- Why are we (both men and women) attracted to women in heels?- his answer would have made Sigmund Freud proud!.

In our humble opinion, the Pigalle simply is a classic that must be in every woman's wardrobe. However, as popular as the Pigalle and its variations are, there has been increasing competition from other design houses, with Casadei's 8593 design being spotted quite frequently-
Is a casadei fansite to follow soon?. Definitely not, but it will be interesting to see if the Pigalle and its cousins can remain the fashion icon it has been these last 7 years.
